Some recent luck

I got a call from a friend last weekend (Paul Giroux) and took a trip down to Amesbury MA. A friend of his, John Noone was moving to Spain for at least four years. ("Until the next regime change," sez he.) Anyway, he had a great boat shop he was clearing out and sold me a sweet little 20hp Yanmar diesel to jam into the MICKY FINN. It needs a bit of cleaning up, but it's only had 100 hours or so on it. Wicked good deal. John was a great guy. He took pity on a poor waterfront blackguard like myself, and loaded the truck down with useful odds and ends. I got some lovely bronze portlights and a fantastic locust skylight.
